    We are turning to machines, our creatives are restricted and we are more afraid to be adventurous.
    Imaginary Jade
    Jade is a symbol of good luck in the Eastern world. The fish and lotus on the jade represents a good fortune in the upcoming year. In this drawing composition and techniques of colored pencil drawing were explored.
  • Hazard Under Florescence
    This painting symbolizes the dangerous in American gun policy. In the painting, a pregnant woman is holding her belly. Aside her belly is a machine gun with lot of withered flowers.
    Ornamentation in Silence
    In ancient China, women originally had to observe very reserved and controlled conduct, and for the most part confined themselves indoors. "Ornamentation in Silence" portrays a woman under the similar condition.
    Exploring Vancouver
    Vancouver is widely known for both of its modern and old timer architectural design. "Exploring Vancouver" showcases nine famous buildings and four bridges in Vancouver, presenting how much there is to learn and love about the city by looking at its architecture.
    Gastown
    This is a painting of Gastown in Vancouver downtown. The reason I chose this location is that Gastown is most historical part of vancouver and it is well known  tourist spot in Vancouver.
  • Exploring Vancouver
    The Holy Rosary Cathedral in Downtown, Vancouver has a French Gothic style. The cathedral was constructed in 1899 and it was a cornerstone for the Roman Catholic parish.

    This structure allows the occupants to move in circular paths in the spaces created. The paths lead the occupants to end up in the contemplation or the observation area.

    The interactive public art project, SenTrix, is a concept imagined by five high-school students regarding six senses—sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and consciousness.

    RePlay
    Launching in Vancouver in September 2013, “Replay” is a project dedicated to further spread the awareness of the capability of recycling and reemploying the material of expanded polystyrene (EPS).
  • City Cage
    by Vicky Wen This piece is dedicated to my father who passed away in a car accident on a business trip. The birdcage has the map of Beijing, one of the busiest cities in the world, cut out.

    Moon Park
    This 3D model is based on the composition drawing of the can opener. I extruded and intruded some of the semi-circular shapes by cutting through the constructions lines. My tool moves in a circular path.
    Chameleon
    She experimented by creating conceptual spaces using voids and perceptual spaces by extending the structure horizontally.
